China used bio-fuel mixed with jet fuel to complete its commercial flight

When it comes to experimenting with alternate or renewable sources of energy china showed it keenness as well as its leader-like role. Say it’s hydrogen-powered Tram Car or its recent use of bio-fuel mixed with jet fuel to complete its commercial flight.

It does sound amazing. The bio-fuel made from cooking oil waste is used as a fuel to run the airline though the mix of fuel is a 50-50 with jet petroleum fuel. In china cooking oil waste is called “gutter oil” and they collected gutter-oil from several restaurants to prepare bio-fuel.

Though they have not pioneered this concept they started implementing it in order to reduce carbon emissions.
