Guzarish Film Review

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films are larger than life. His films are costly as his production design, costume design, set selction and cenematrograpy are higly emphasised. In almost all his films portray characters that need big sets to play on. He doest not want his actors to dress like ordinarily as they have something extraordinary in their character.
Devdas was said to be his magnum opus while Black made his stand on the center stage of the global cinematography, Hum Dil de chuke Sanam had a storyline which seemed illlogical when it comes to a husaband’s struggle to find his wife’s boyfriend. Such high idealistic love is rare in a real world and only possible it the imaginary filmmy creations of Leela Bhansali. Devdas was heavely loaded with the light, sound, visual efffects with ornamenal dailouges while Black showed emotions of a lady who was challenged by destiny. All his movies tough touch some very sensitive cords of human emotions there are only a section of  selctive audiances who can really understand and appreciate such high emotions of great dramatic cenematography.
One of the speciality or you may say weakness of Bhansali is that he can not work with any actor who comes his way. All his films are acted by actors who almost have wide reach aming a wide network of Fan following, hence his Earlier movies have super stars like Salman. Devgan, Aishwarya, Saharukh and this time Hrithik. Aishwarya seems to be his lucky Mascot. If you compare between Ram Gopal Verma and Sanjay Leela Bhansali both have a tendency to experiment but unlike Ramu sanjay is more particular about opulent sets and established actors.
When it comes to Guzarish we knew from the beginning that it will have a story line of a physically challenged Man whose life events are going to be the major scenes of the film. Ethan the central character played by Roshan was tough and challlenging but Hritik tried to perfect the role of a paralysed Man confined to wheel chair who has been always taken care of by Sophia his Nurse. Sophia, the character played by Aishwarya was empathtic toward Ethan and devoted toward him, then the kind of love that comes from empathy is silent but strong and loud in its very essence. Unconditional love is not rare is the world.
Sanjay Leela’s Films undoubtedly give opportunity to the actors to display the wealth of their acting prowess and the depth of a character that an actor may live through his ingenuity.
