Phantom Review

After a brisk hiatus Saif and Katrina are appearing in a new movie called “Phantom”. Phantom, the name sounds more like a ghost story or a sci-fi thriller but Phantom is nothing to do with Ghosts or any imaginative Sci-fi characters. Phantom is a story related to 26/11 Mumbai attack and the story is based more on Mumbai Avengers’ by S. Hussain Zaidi.

Kabir khan’s recent movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan was directed towards Indo-Pak peace while Salman-katrina Starrer, Ek Tha Tiger was a story of a Raw agent or Spy, Salman Khan from India who falls in love with Katrina, a spy from Pakistan ISI. In both the movies Kabir Khan showed the human side of people from both the countries. If something really harming the relationship between India and Pakistan I would say a handful of people who do not want the two countries to become friends.

This time in Phantom, Kabir Khan finds his man Saif Ali Khan in a mission to Pakistan. The mission is to eliminate the master minds of 2008 attack in Mumbai which killed 166 people and injured several. A series of 12 coordinated attacks made by 10 well-trained terrorists, were done under the control of LET (Lashkar-e-Taiba ) a militant organization in Pakistan and ISI.

India needs the master mind of the 26/11 attacks, Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi to be handed over to India. Phantom is an answer to it. Saif Ali who has prior experience of playing a spy in Agent Vinod plays the lead role in eliminating the culprits.

Phantom, releasing in 28th August is going to be Kabir khan’s upcoming action-packed movie.
