PV Sindhu is ahead in the race of endorsement game

PV Sindhu’s lost against the world No. 1 Carolina Marin from Spain is still a great pride for the country as it indicates towards a great future for Indian Badminton.

Winning by 19-21, 21-12, 21-15 to PV Sindhu may have brought a sigh of relief to Carolina Marin but a strong message sent out to the world that the position of the world’s number one player is certainly in threat, PV Sindhu literally played a splendid spell in the first round with 19-21 and that is the strong positivity that India sees in the badminton arena.

The world No 10 from Hyderabad, India has become the first Indian shuttler to reach the Final at the Olympics in Rio; she defeated Japan's Nozomi Okuhara to reach the final.

Now it’s time for PV Sindhu to become a brand for Indian Sports. She will surely become as stronger as a brand like Sania Mirza and Saina Nehwal. Looking at her silver medal at Olympics she is few steps ahead in the endorsement game subject to right kind of image projection, branding that can be related to youth of the country.

Saina and sania are very famous and playing from years, so they charge around 1 cr to 1.25 per endorsement per year and when it comes to Sindhu after this win she may be very close to that price tag, if not 1.25 cr, she may easily get 75 Lakh to 1 cr a year.

Sakshi Malik’s bronze may bring her into 50 lakh-75lakh/year category in terms of endorsement.

21 year old PV Sindhu is great fan of Mahesh Babu from Telugu film Industry and Hrithik Roshan from Bollywood, the reason she likes these two celebrities are due to their good looks. In an interview even she confessed that it’s their good looking personality that made her idolize them. It does sound a little selfish but its oke as most of us look for beauty, luxury as the wishes of life.
