“Kiss of Love protest” should be banned

“Kiss of Love Protest” organized by a group of youngsters who gathered together at a coffee shop in Kozhikode against BJP has caught the attention of national media as well as the ire of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

VHP workers tore the posters and placards prepared by the protesters. A coffee shop in Kozhikode was wrecked by a group of BJP’s youth supporters.

Following this a group of protesters led by Rahul Pasupalan, film maker opened a facebook page naming “kiss of love” and they facebook page managed to get 14,000 likes in a short period.

Around 2,600 people have accepted invitation to kiss in public as a symbol and expression of love. This public display is going to happen in marine drive, kochi. As per the youngsters kiss is nothing but an expression of love and there should not be moral policing against love.

Now after analyzing it seems these youngsters have lost their mind in love. Love is sacred but a generation influenced by a fast moving cultural change is destroying the sanctity of love. How many of these dare devils are going to marry their love interest. Love should not be misunderstood as lust. This is lust which makes the so-called lovers getting engaged in physical expressions rather than the platonic expression of love.
