My afterthoughts from this thought-provoking quote

“Experience life in all possible ways --

good-bad, bitter-sweet, dark-light,
summer-winter. Experience all the dualities.
Don't be afraid of experience, because
the more experience you have, the more
mature you become.”
 Osho

My afterthoughts from this thought-provoking quote

Read it again and again and you will get enlightenment.  Enlightenment is nothing but getting rid of our self-created ignorance. He talked about good and bad experiences of life which we cannot control but to be true when journey through the experiences of life we become more mature and that maturity makes us more courageous, kind and considerate.

Do you wish to have bad experiences in life just to grow? I don’t think anyone would do so but yes more we try to avoid such experiences more we draw closer to these, Bad experiences here are hard challenges of life, when we accept those challenges we grow in life, our spiritual essence comes from within and we transform from common humans to mature humans.

Even though we don’t want to experience bad or dark experiences of life, sometimes destiny throws such events towards us. Do you give up if you encounter such events and experiences that arise as a result? No you should never.

I heard somewhere that 20 lakh children live homeless in India, they are either drawn to streets due to the Karma of their parents or their own destiny out of which 6 lakh are between the age of 1 to 6 year. So should we leave these children in the streets to suffer or should we redeem them from their destiny-driven Karma? I know there are great humans who work towards their redemption from their miserable life but should not we also help the cause? This is just one example of how mature individuals empathetically feel the pain of those children and work towards their redemption.

There are several such societal vices we may know happening around us. Should we not show our maturity in fighting those vices? As we fight out dark we become mature.
