Pakistani family spends a night on Mumbai Footpath

Recent news of a Pakistani family denied lodging by a dozen of Mumbai lodges eventually forced them to spend the night on a Mumbai Footpath.

Inayat Ali (55) came along with his sister Noor Banu a few women, a 7 year old boy came to India perhaps inspired by Salman Khan’s movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan. They have an agenda to visit their relative at Jodhpur, visit Haji Ali Shrine in Mumbai and finally they wanted to meet Salman Khan.

The family spent a week at their relative at Jodhpur and the headed towards Mumbai. On 14th of October they reached Mumbai and went to Haji Ali, offered prayers and went back from Haji Ali to find accommodation. The Trauma started when they were denied by a dozen of lodges to accommodate them as they were from Pakistan.

Having experienced such an unexpected trauma they wanted to go back to Jodhpur but as it was too late and there was no train available during night the RPF even told them to come in the morning. They had no other option except getting stranded on Mumbai Footpath.
