Saroj Khan died at 71: Bollywood can never forget this great choreographer

Saroj Khan passed away today leaving a void in Bollywood, she was a National award-winning choreographer, In her long career of 40 years in Hindi film industry she choreographed nearly 2000 songs.

Her choreographed songs were highly successful with Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.

No one can forget her choreographed song “Hawa Hawai” (1987) for Sridevi in Mr. India.

Songs like Ek Do Teen”, “Hum Ko Aaj Kal Hai Intezaar”, “Dhak Dhak Karne Laga”, “Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai”, and “Tamma Tamma” in collaboration with Madhuri Dixit were adored by billions of fans.

She also choreographed in  Baazigar, Mohra, Darr, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Taal, Veer-Zaara, Pardes, Soldier, Don, Saawariya, Lagaan, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Manikarnika, Nagina and Chandni.

She started her career as a background dancer and then went on to become the most successful choreographer in Hindi Film industry.
