Why Biopics of celebrities and why not Biopics of Martyrs?

Indian Film industry's love of biopics of living celebrities look little strange and selfish. After Mohammad Azharuddin's Biopic Azhar did well in the box office, Sajnay Dutt's Biopic and M.S Dhoni biopic are in news. Why we should not have biopics of Indian army or police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country?

Does it really make any difference by watching biopics of film stars or cricketers?

Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan from NSG

He gave his own life to save hostages of 26/11 terrorist attack. He fought with the terrorists bravely and saved life of 14 hostages through operation Black Tornado. It was one of the most difficult operations of all time where the Pakistani terrorists took civilians as hostage in Hotel Taj. He succumbed to death while fighting with the terrorists at the age of 31.

No one will ever forget the brave captain Vikram Batra who pushed aside Pakistani Army in the battle of Tiger Hill, Kargil War. Posthumously awarded Param Vir Chakra.

Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey

 Operation Vijay led by Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey during Kargil War cannot forgotten, he captured the Jubar Top by destroying the enemy bunkers, took his last breath after ensuring that the last enemy bunker was captured. Posthumously awarded Param Vir Chakra.
